Preference and relaxation in experience will be given to candidates who possess MBA degree from renowned foregn University and also have International work experience with well-reputed financial institutions.

Member (Technical)
The applicant should be a professional Telecommunication Engineer responsible for assuming a leadership role relating to regulating the telecommunication system and provision of telecommunication services in Pakistan.
a)      Ph.D in Telecom System/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with specialization in telecommunication with 15 years relevant experience in a responsible position in public or private sectors.
OR
M.Sc/M.S (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering with specialization In telecommunication or in a related discipline with a minimum of 18 years’ experience in a responsible position in public/private sector; OR B.SC Engineerign with not less than 20 years’ experience, out of which atleast 5 years’ experience should beat higher management level.
b) Preference and relaxation in experience will be given to candidates who possess MBA Degree in addition to Engineering/Telecom qualification.
        c) Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.

Ph.D/Professional Charter in Business/Finance/Regulatory Economics/Administration/Corporate Management/Telecommunications/Computer Science/Information Technology or LLM or (LLB Degree with 2 years additional experience) from Foreign / Local Institutions with 15 years’ experience, including at least 5 years at the top management level;
OR
Master’s Degree in above disciplines from a foreign or local university with 18 year relevant experience in Public/Private Sector with atleast 5 years at higher management level.

Emoluments: The Members of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority shall be pid the salary and be entitle to the privileges of an Officer in MP-II scale (Rs. 110,000-16500-176,000)
Upper Age Limit: 56 Years
Tenure: The selected candidates shall be appointed for an intital term of four years.

1. How to Apply:

  • Please deposit examination fee of Rs. 800/- (for the posts from serial No. 1 to 3) and Rs. 500/- (for the posts from serial No. 4 to 13) through the prescribed deposit slip available with the application form at the online branches of ABL, UBL, HBL or MCB.
  • Candidates are required to send their applications on prescribed application forms along with an online deposit slip (in original) at NTS Headquarters, 96, Street No. 4, Sector H-8/1, Islamabad Through courier/Pakistan Post.
  • Applications shall be accompanied by attested copies of testimonials, CNIC, Domicile, two Photographs, experience certificate, if any.
  • Examination Fee is non-refundable/non-transferable.

  1. Candidates already in Government service should apply through proper channel.
  2. 10% seats are reserved across the board for women subject to the condition of fulfilling the prescribed criteria and method. However, if sufficient number of eligible women candidates are not available, the posts shall be filled in on merit as prescribed, providing that there shall be no carry forward of the seats reserved for women. 2% quota is also reserved for disable persons subject to fulfillment of conditions as mentioned above.
