Billing Manager for large health care system in Philadelphia Region

Responsible for day-to-day operation of the Physician Billing Department. Works closely with Supervisors, billing staff, physician practice staff, and other internal and external customers to ensure that all billing related department goals are met or exceeded. Assists or owns the development and execution of all billing related policies and procedures, systems related issues that have an impact on the business and overall problem resolution. Ultimately responsible for designing and modifying the daily workflow within the department in order to meet or exceed stated goals. Handles the administrative and developmental issues within the Billing Department and works closely with the Billing Supervisors in order to direct and manage the daily operation. Develops sound policies and processes that maximize the department opportunity to meet or exceed their goals while managing the overall billing expense.
