Job Description |
1. Streamlines &. innovates enabling HR processes at Country Office and One UN Reform level
2. Identifies the major organizational design structure, budgetary and IT responses to drive the integration of HR administration practices at Country Office & One UN level.
3. Monitors and measures outcomes of HR practices and interventions to enhance staff accountability and programme delivery and Country Office at One UN level
4. Interprets, determines and implements HR Administration issues for all staff in accordance with UN/UNICEF rules, regulations, policies, instructions and directives.
5. Assists the Senior HR Manager in taking HR administrative decisions within the parameters of the approved rules and HR policies and drafts Management responses.
6. Provides briefing and orientation to newly arrived staff on personnel and HR administrative procedures and requirements and international staff personal entitlement in the country. Overseas processing of these enticements and documentation with the relevant ministries, and other appropriate institutions.
7. Regularly liaises with as all sections and Chief of Field Offices. |
Required Skills |
Human Resource Management; experience working in a multi-cultural and/or international work environment; and experience in a field mission or related activity. Excellent drafting skills.

-Strong ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations on key issues by formulating positions, articulating options concisely, and making and defending recommendations.
-Personal credibility with self-regulation and tact.
NOTE The position is preliminaryat NOB level but based on candidate profile can be offered NOA as well. |
