Responsible for researching, analyzing, evaluating, and administering corporate benefit plans and programs. Monitors benefit trends in the industry and stays abreast of applicable benefits legislation. Provides advisory and consultative services to employees and managers. Acts as liaison between employee and insurance providers; coordinates timely filing and maintenance of regulatory plan documents; coordinates benefit program initiatives; and provides overview of benefits during new employee orientation
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or related field. MBA preferred
5 - 7 years related experience in benefits analysis and administration required.
Previous experience with compliance and federal benefit regulations strongly preferred.
Workers compensation and/or FMLA experience a plus
Qualified applicant must be able to think and work independently
Strong project management skills needed, along with proven track record for completing assignments/projects on time and on budget.
Must possess strong problem solving, decision making, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and writing skills required.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Familiarity with Access and SAP or Lawson a plus.
