DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Our client, Park Farms, has been committed to providing the highest quality poultry products to local grocers and restaurants since 1946. Park Farms has established a reputable brand in the state of Ohio synonymous with high quality poultry products by providing USDA Grade ‘A’ poultry grown without human antibiotics or any growth-enhancing hormones or steroids.

They are currently seeking a Director of Human Resources to join their growing team in Canton, Ohio. The Director of Human Resources will serve as an approachable contact and liaison between the hourly workforce and leadership team related to employee communications, employee relations and internal events that support the company culture. They will continue to acquire education and training while pro-actively staying abreast of industry related information for all compliance matters impacting the HR function. They will be responsible for the selection, policy management, development and discipline associated with all non-management personnel. The individual in this position will execute all payroll, worker’s compensation, safety administration and policy compliance and execution based on company and government standards.

As the Director of Human Resources you will contribute to the company’s success in the following ways;

• Continuing education and advancement related to all compliance matters impacting the HR function.
• Responsible for the selection, policy management, development and discipline associated with all non-management personnel.
• The execution of all payroll, worker’s compensation, safety administration and policy compliance and execution based on company and government standards.
• Serve as an approachable contact and liaison between the hourly workforce and leadership related to company communication, employee communication and internal events that support the Park Farms Company Culture.

Compensation
$53,000 - $57,000 base
Bonus potential based on company profitability

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in Human Resources
PHR or SPHR preferred
HR Generalist background in personnel administration, compensation, benefits, payroll and employee relations
