Field/Specification Engineer for a Multinational manufacturing Tool Company

Hi All,
We are looking for candidates for positions at a Multinational Company
(that is a manufacturer of tools for construction industry)
Company Sector: Manufacturing for Construction Industry

Position Title: Field/Specification Engineer
Location: Islamabad
Salary: 42K to 67K including a 17K car allowance -- or more (based on profile)

Summary of Essentiail Requirement:
-- Four-year college degree with a major in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.
-- 2 years of front-line Engineering experience and
-- 2 years of proven presales or sales experience at selling business
solutions in a complex selling environment.
 Purpose of position: (Overall contribution to corporate goals)
·      The Field Engineer focuses on the education of product design
to consultants, architects and the
engineering community as well as current and prospective customers.
·      This position participates in the growth of company by
providing competent recommendations to engineers and
architects on specific applications using sound engineering judgment.
Core  Accountabilities:
Providing technical support to company's sales-force and customers
consistent with market strategy.
This includes offering professional educational seminars,
presentations, and testing details informing the customer about
company products, their performance characteristics, applications, and
product limitations.
Have direct contact with salespeople or strategic business personnel
to assess application problems and opportunities.
This position is accountable for the attainment of specification
through regular planned calls to consultants, field engineers and
designated contractors.
Accountable for developing solutions and supporting the sales process
for the current as well as potential customers / prospects with
special focus on one or more of the Segments.
Maintain contact with Consultants and Field Engineers through all
phases of design and engineering in order to specify company products.
Inform and train customers / prospects on using company Engineering
products aiming to support incremental sales.
Specific activities to support sales team: engineering support,
specifications, technical job-site support seminars and technical
software maintenance
.
Lead the technical dept. in all technical issues.
Coordinate actions between consultants and Technical Sales Reps.
Train the Technical Sales Reps. on company products.
Candidate Profile:
 Educational qualification:
·         Four-year college degree with a major in Civil / Mechanical
Engineering
.
·         MBA is a plus.
·         Operational knowledge of MS Office / Project Planing Softwares.
·         Valid Driving Liscence
Language:

·         Proficiency in English language (must)
Age:
·         28 - 36 years
Experience:
·         2 years of front line Engineering experience and
·         2 years of proven presales or sales experience at selling
business solutions in a complex selling environment.
·         Proven success in presenting technical products as a
business solution.
·         Proven success selling into complex sales environments with
both business and technical buyers.

Knowledge & Abilities:

·         Fair knowledge and understanding of manufacturing,
distribution, supply chain business issues.
·         Able to create effective presentations in time constrained
environment.
·         Able to organize and prioritize work in a multi-tasking environment.
·         Able to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and
take corrective action where appropriate.

Skills:
Excellent time management & coordination skills.
Team player, Structured & well organized.
Strong sales and selling aptitude

·         Showing self responsibility – proactive behavior
·         Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
Effective written, oral and presentation skills
Coaching and management of additional technical resources to meet the
needs of an account.
