Job Title : Binary Analysis Software Developer
Location : Ft Meade, MD.
Job Type : Full Time Position.

Job Description:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Eight (8) plus years experience in software engineering (Java and C++), system security engineering, or software vulnerability assessment experience.

- Experience using/tuning binary or source code analysis tools, evaluating suitability and strength of function.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.




SUMMARY

- The ability to solve very difficult technical problems.

- Minimum requirements for a Binary Analysis Researcher may be satisfied by comparable experience in a related field such as Computational Mathematics, Statistics and Probability, or Artificial Intelligence.

- Comparable experience must include recent (within the last two years) application of current advances in the relevant field to problems of software security and development.

- Historically the individuals required to fulfill the requirements of this labor category have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.



EDUCATION AND YEARS EXPERIENCE

- Bachelors degree plus Seven (7) years experience

- Master degree plus Five (5) years experience

- PhD plus Three (3) years experience



JOB DUTIES

- Research the state of the art binary analysis tools and techniques.

- Support the design, development, testing and pilot of prototype tools as needed.

- Support specialized research and development of software assurance methodologies using binary analysis tools and techniques.

- Provide support of technical research and development helping to advance software assurance evaluation methodologies.
