Buyer/Planner position in Dallas, TX

I am working with a Multi-Million Dollar Consumer & Commercial Supply Company in the Dallas, TX area that is looking for a Buyer/Planner to add to thier team.

This Company has been around for over 50 years and operates in 50 Countries throughout the World.

The Buyer/Planner is responsible for managing the purchasing and planning for a defined item set ensuring the lowest total cost of purchased materials while maximizing service levels. Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
* Managing the Forecast, Planning the Supply schedule, issuing purchase orders, confirming orders.
* Data Management within an item set including vendor data, pricing and item attributes
* Interacting with suppliers on order confirmations
* Coordinate logistics and provide insight to transportation details.
* manage warehouse replenishments and inventory levels.

Mandatory skill sets include:
* Supply Planning exp.
* Purchasing Mgmt exp.
* project planning
* ERP exp.
* PC skills (MS suite of products

Ballpark salary 40-60k
