Responsible for the design, engineering, procurement and installation of HVAC, Electrical & Mechanical utility distribution systems for turnkey laboratory projects. Coordination of the HVAC/MEP subcontractors through schematic design development, detailed engineering and execution phases of a project. Establish meetings and participate in reviews with End-Users, Consultants and General Contractors. Ensure code compliance and be responsible for coordinating workloads to complete the project per schedule. Also reviews mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines, and write/edit mechanical specifications, select equipment, mechanical systems and devices. Coordinate and assist with any addendums, RFIs, change proposal requests and change orders. Finally, they provide, on an as needed basis, construction contract administration and conduct QA/QC on the work of other Mechanical Project Engineers, Mechanical Project Coordinators or Mechanical CADD Technicians.

Qualification : Four-Year Degree: Yes (preferably MSc)

Major: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management (minimum 4 year program) and AA Degree in CADD Operation or Design.
Required Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office applications, CAD MEP design, & competency in using software tools to prepare estimates

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years working in the Indian market

What Area: MEP Systems in Laboratories/Healthcare/Pharmaceuticaly/Chemical/Petrochemical sectors

Language skills (English and Hindi or other major Indian language).

Project and MEP design and contracting experience required. Self-directed and motivated. Strong entrepreneurial and business skills. Long and frequent travel. Sitting up to 10 hrs/day. Extreme variation temperatures. Travel by air and auto on routine basis. Operate in different time zones, frequently changing one to another. Frequently walk in or through a plant area, construction sites, and customer facilities, which requires walking on concrete flooring. Regular attendance is required to provide continuity and accomplishment of job responsibilities on a continual and timely basis. Read, write, speak, personally or on the telephone and perform mathematical calculations as required throughout the day.
