3	Manager Research Development (ORIC) Develop programs and activities that will increase funding for research from all public and private sources, establish and maintain excellent relationships with donors and stakeholders, oversee proposal development and submission. 4	Manager University Industrial Linkages (ORIC) Promote the development of public-private partnerships in support of university research. Link the university’s research community with the needs and priorities of the corporate sector, develop opportunities for applied research and explore opportunities for technology transfer and the commercialization of university research (including incubators and research parks)	PhD in science or technology with at least 12 years of experience working with business and industry on research projects knowledge of current models and best practices of university-industry relations and public private partnerships, training with issues of technology transfer intellectual property and commercialization of university research, experience in dealing with relevant agencies of the Government of Pakistan and the provincial as well as local government, strong linkages with the local and national business and corporate community. i. The Selection Board/Committee will consider all applications received and when necessary interview such candidates as it consider prime-facie most suitable for appointment. The decision of Selection Board/Committee in this regard shall be final.

ii. Age Limit: No person who is less than 21 years or more than 45 years of age shall be appointed by initial recruitment. Relaxation of age may be allowed in special cases.

iii. Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.uet.edu.pk and can also be obtained from Treasurer's Office on payment of Rs. 10/- in University Account No. 553 with M/s. Habib Bank Limited, Engineering University Branch. Lahore. Applications on prescribed ofrm, completeted in all respects, along with necessary documents which mush contain full academic record/transcripts of each examination and postal order or Bank Draft/Bank Challan HBL, UET Branch of the following value in favour of Treasurer of this University, should reach the Registrar's Office on or before 15.08.2013 through proper channel, where-ever necessary:-
